   Configuring Eudora

To configure your mail account in Eudora, you need to follow below
mentioned guide-lines:

1. Launch Eudora.

From the Tools menu, select Personalities. The Personalities pane appears.
Right-click inside the Personalities pane to display the pop-up menu.
Select New.... The New Account Wizard appears.
Select Create a brand new account.
Click Next.

3.  In the Personality Name field, enter an arbitrary name for this account. 
This is a name that the user will use to distinguish this account from any
othersthey might have.
Click Next.
4.  Enter the name in the Your Name field. This name will appear in the 
From field of the e-mail messages that are sent.
Click Next.
5.  In the E-mail Address field, enter the e-mail address: 
username@yourdomainname.com
Click Next.
6.  In the Login Name field, 
username-yourdomainname
Click Next.
7.  In the Incoming Server field, enter the name of the mail server, like this: 
mail.yourdomainname.com
8.  Select the e-mail protocol you want to use. 
Select POP3
Click Next.
9.  In the Outgoing Server field, enter the name of your SMTP server: 
mail.yourdomainname.com
10.  When configuring your POP3 logon, be sure to use the complete  
email address (username@yourdomainname.com). In order to send email using
your email client, you MUST use SMTP authentication. When configuring your
SMTP server information, enable SMTP authentication then enter yourt email
account (username-yourdomainname) and your password. Passwords are case
sensitive. View your email client helpfile for more information.
Note: SMTP authentication is not the same as SSL. Do not enable SAP or SSL 
in your configuration.
11.  Make sure that Allow Authentication is selected. 
12.  Click Next. 
13.  Click Finish.
