CuteFTP is easy to use FTP client that can be used to upload your files to your hosting account. To setup CuteFTP, follow the steps below.

Step 1

Start the Connection Wizard by clicking on File and Connection Wizard.

Step 2 Choose Other for the ISP and click Next

 
Step 3

Enter a name to identify your site and click Next. (This should be ideally your domain name)

 Step 4

Next you need to enter the FTP address for your site. Please enter your domain name
e.g. www.your_domain.com

 Step 5

Now it is time to enter the Username and Password for the FTP login. This is the Username and Password that was set when the domain was created in the Control Panel  Click Next. 

Step 6: Finally select your Local Default Directory. This is the directory on your computer that holds the website. Click on the Browse button and then select the folder that your site is in. After that, click next.

 


Step 7: That's it. You can now click Finish

 

Step 8: To login, go to Files Site Manager, on the top menu

Step 9: Click on the Connect button to connect to the server. You can now upload your files to your site.
